After a decade in the City working for two major investment banks, I transitioned into full-time tutoring because I discovered that explaining complex economic models gave me far more satisfaction than executing trades. I hold a PhD in Economics from the University of Manchester and an MBA from London Business School.

My approach centres on connecting economic theory to real-world events. When we study monetary policy, we analyse actual Bank of England decisions. When we cover market structures, we look at recent merger cases from the CMA. This makes abstract models tangible and memorable.

I have helped over 200 students achieve A/A* at A-Level Economics, and my university students consistently improve their marks by at least one grade boundary. I also tutor for professional qualifications including CFA Level I and ACCA fundamentals.

Every student receives a tailored study plan after our initial diagnostic session. I track progress meticulously and adjust the programme as needed. My philosophy is simple: economics is everywhere, and once you learn to see it, you never stop understanding the world differently.
