Eilidh MacKenzie

I am a final-year Spanish and Portuguese student at the University of Glasgow, and I spent my third year living and studying in Seville. That immersive experience transformed my Spanish from academic to genuinely fluent, and I returned with a deep love for Spanish language and culture.

I have been tutoring Spanish for two years, working with secondary school students and adult beginners. My lessons are conversation-heavy because I believe the fastest way to learn a language is to use it. We speak Spanish from the start, with me adjusting my pace and vocabulary to match your level.

I prepare students for National 5, Higher, and DELE examinations. For exam students, I combine conversational practice with targeted grammar work, vocabulary building, and exam technique. For leisure learners, I focus on practical communication skills and cultural knowledge.
