Adebayo Johnson

I am a senior software engineer with seven years of industry experience and an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Warwick. I have been tutoring alongside my engineering work for the past seven years because I believe that the best teachers are those who actively practise what they teach.

My core expertise is in Java and object-oriented programming, algorithms and data structures, and software engineering principles. I work with university students studying computer science, bootcamp graduates transitioning into tech careers, and professionals preparing for technical interviews at top companies.

My teaching style is patient, structured, and deeply practical. I believe that programming is best learned by writing code, so every session involves live coding and problem-solving. I use a Socratic approach, guiding students to discover solutions through carefully sequenced questions rather than simply showing them the answer.

I have helped over fifty students pass their university programming modules, and more than twenty of my interview preparation students have received offers from companies including Google, Amazon, and Microsoft. I understand what these companies look for and I prepare students with the skills and confidence they need to succeed.
